Morino Kitsune — もりのきつね
作家・イラストレーター。絵本を起点に、小説や戯曲など幅広く物書きをしています。2019年から「絵本ひろば」で作品を公開し、絵本作家としての活動を始める。
Writer and illustrator. Beginning with picture books, my work now stretches into novels, plays, and many forms of storytelling. Since 2019, I have been sharing my picture books on Ehon Hiroba, marking the start of my journey as an author.
小さい頃小児喘息のため、学校でいじめられていた。学校で極度の緊張状態になり、声が出なくなるようになっていった。しかし、母親に「狐みたいでかわいいね」と言葉をかけてもらって以来、人に母からもらったような温かい言葉をかけたいと思うようになり、作家を目指す。
As a child, I struggled with asthma and was often bullied at school. The fear tightened my throat until my voice could no longer come out. But one day, my mother said to me, "You're like a little fox — so lovely." That single warmth changed the direction of my life. Since then, I've wanted to offer others the same kind of gentle words that once saved me. And so I write.
